Tourist Attractions in Bodhgaya

Bodhi Tree is also the prime attraction that is in the west of the temple premises. Lord Buddha used to sit here. There are a large number of Stupas of all sizes in the courtyard of the temple. Not forget to mention the magnificent Great Buddha Statue, 25 meter tall at the end of the temple street. Spiritual leader Dalai Lama unveiled the statue in 1989 and since then it has become a famous attraction to explore.

Prestshila Hills is another famous and must see place that is a mountain range. Prestshila Hills, Gaya of Bihar is situated at a distance of 100 kilometers to the south of Patna. The age old town of Gaya is of tremendous importance to the Hindus as well as the Buddhists.
