The Mall is a non-traffic area because of historical buildings and other attractions. You will see couples and tour enthusiast walking on the road here. How to Reach Shimla

Shimla is well connected via road to all main cities of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi. There are regular buses and taxis from New Delhi. Buses are also run by different state road transport corporations to Shimla.

Shimla has its narrow-gauge rail line connected from Kalka to Shimla. The main broad gauge rail line is Ambala, Chandigarh and New Delhi. Pathankot is also in the range. Rail line from Kalka to Shimla is now UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi is the nearest airport to reach Shimla. You can take taxi or bus from here to reach Shimla. Shimla has its own domestic airport as well where regular flights are operated from New Delhi.
